The logo for the 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Championships to be held in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex was recently unveiled by the US Figure Skating Association (USFSA).
The red, white and blue-colored sporting event logo features the Wright Flyer, the first powered aircraft, encircling the name of the event and alludes to the historical significance of North Carolina. The logo was designed by a local web marketing/design company, BEM Interactive.
The event runs from January 22 to 30, 2011 in Greensboro, NC.
U.S. Figure Skating is the official governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States, recognized as such by both the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the International Skating Union (ISU). As the governing body, U.S. Figure Skating’s mission is to provide programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating.
